New Year's Concert

We continue with the tradition of ending the year with Bach cantatas, this time with the beautiful BWV 152 Tritt auf die Glaubensbahn, premiered on December 30 in Weimar. This work shows a delicate complicity between the solo voice and the instruments, evoking the serenity and hope typical of this holiday.

We can also listen to the cantata BWV 142 Uns ist ein Kind geboren, in which Bach takes as his starting point the music of Johann Kuhnau, the Kantor who preceded him in Leipzig. At the same time, this program incorporates pieces with the same text by Telemann and Graupner, offering a beautiful tour around this Christmas celebration.
