Flash Bach

Our annual collaboration with the Filmoteca continues and on this occasion we are taking a closer look at the films of Tarkovski, in which he used Bach’s music for his soundtracks. The Soviet director’s overwhelming visual capacity combines with the expressivity of the music of Bach, the composer most often heard in Tarkovski’s films. The session will be presented by Tamara Djermanovic, an expert on this great director’s work.
