Breaking Bach

For the closure of the Bachcelona Festival, we present a concert in which music combines with words and movement to shed light on a condition inherent to the human being: solitude. The Rest is Silence joins music and texts from the 20th and 21st centuries with The Musical Offering of J.S. Bach, which acts a beacon over the course of this journey in which all boundaries are blurred.

This veritable constellation allows us to evoke solitude and, at the same time, to traverse it with all the forms of expression within our reach, featuring the recital of texts of Samuel Beckett, Alexander Blok, Kawai Kanjiro and Rainer Maria Rilke.
