Bach at Palau II

A concert of the Joven Coro Andalucía – the Youth Choir of Andalusia – conducted by the much lauded Marco Antonio García de Paz, currently the chief conductor of the RTVE Choir, as well as the conductor and founder of the prestigious choral ensemble El León de Oro. The Joven Coro Andalucía is another project of formative character that will be a part of Bachcelona, providing opportunities for young singers, in this ensemble’s case in collaboration with the Regional Government of Andalusia.
On this occasion, we carry on with the Bach-Mendelssohn dialogue that began in the opening concert, presenting a highly elaborate programme in which homonymous works of the two composers are interpreted. This allows us to contrast some inspired musical illustrations based on the same text.
