“The sounds of the accordion are in no way at odds with the writing of Johann Sebastian Bach: indeed, they lend it a timeless setting, accentuating its serenity thanks to the continuous flow of air that feeds and leads the phrasing. From the very first piece, one is enraptured by the interpretation of Fanny Vicens. One loves the movement with which she gives life to the score: each motif, each figure, each ornament breathes life and finds its place in a magnificent vision of the polyphonic line. Hers is a masterful interpretation.”
