Flash Bach (I)

Il vangelo secondo Matteo is a 1964 film directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini, with a script written by the director himself and absolutely faithful to the text of the Gospel according to Saint Matthew, a remarkable fact since Pasolini was a declared atheist.
The film received the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Soundtrack, which includes a selection of the Passions de J.S. Bach.
The presentation will be given by Miguel Dalmau, author of Pasolini. The Last Prophet (Tusquets, 2022), a work that deserved the XXXIV Premio Comillas.
