
Jana Corominas, mezzosoprano
Jana Corominas is a mezzo-soprano from Barcelona. She began her musical studies at the age of 5 with the Suzuki method. In 2024, she graduated from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu under the guidance of baritone Joan Martín Royo, with whom, together with Marta Pujol, she has completed the Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the same institution. She is currently pursuing the official Master’s in Lied “Victoria de los Ángeles” at ESMUC.
She has been awarded a scholarship to participate in the 2025 edition of Lied the Future, a talent development programme run by the Associació Franz Schubert with the support of Fundación Banco Sabadell and Fundación Ferrer-Salat. She has furthered her vocal training through masterclasses, academies and courses with renowned professionals such as Emma Kirkby, Eduardo López Banzo, Marta Infante, Lluís Vilamajó, Sophie Koch, Christiane Karg, Didier Laclau-Barrère, Benjamin Appl, Francisco Poyato, Wolfram Rieger, Luciana Serra, among others.
She regularly collaborates with some of the most important choirs in Catalonia, including the Palau de la Música Chamber Choir, Cor Francesc Valls, Bach Collegium and the Bachcelona Akademie choir. She has worked with prominent national and international conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Christoph Siebert, Christoph Prégardien, Lluís Vilamajó, Pere Lluís Biosca, Manel Valdivieso and Mireia Barrera.
