CHAMBER MUSIC FROM LICEU

Bach/Mozart dialogue

A string trio formed by outstanding musicians of the Gran Teatre del Liceu Orchestra will offer us a delicate dialogue between Bach and Mozart. We will have the chance to listen to the transcriptions which Mozart himself made of The Well-Tempered Clavier, in which the polyphonic wealth of this fundamental work by J.S. Bach is wonderfully enhanced, allowing one to discover all its internal textures. What’s more, we will be privileged to have the chance to hear Kai Gleusteen, the concertmaster of the orchestra, together with Albert Coronado and Oscar Alabau, two exceptionally talented young musicians.
