CANTATAS BWV 24 AND 168

Festival Torroella and Vantaa (Finland)

The winning soloists of the Salvat Bach Grant, accompanied by the BACHCELONA Consort, will present a programme with two very special cantatas of J. S. Bach written exclusively for vocal soloists. We will have the chance to hear the cantata BWV 24 Ein ungefärbt Gemüte and the cantata BWV 168 Tue Rechnung! Donnerwort. These are two works of great depth in which the interpreters must adopt all possible expressive registers, with arias that are authentic treasures of the vocal repertoire.
